Show your mettle in Contraband Police Simulator

Contraband Police Simulator is a single-player adventure game available through Google Play and Steam. It’s a police simulator in which players take over the role of trainee border guard inspector. The game takes place in a communist country in the ’80s.

Developed by Crazy Rocks, this open-world sim brings to mind other well-acclaimed customs and border protection games, such as the pixelated 2D classic Papers, Please. However, this 3D graphics game is far more realistic and complex. Just like Border Patrol Police Simulator, it’s the type of game that leaves players wanting more levels.

Smuggling, forgery, and corruption

From your post in the mountains of Karikatka, you must police an entry point into the Acarist People's Republic. Checking ID starts out easy but quickly becomes difficult as crossings rise and forgeries are harder to spot.

Looking for smuggled goods with a UV light and extracting them is no mean feat, but you want to earn respect, so you toil away until you lose your comrade.

Shootouts and police chases

There’s no such thing as a police simulator without firearms, and there’s no shortage of them here. Fighting off Oberankov's gang and chasing runaway smugglers is the order of the day. Upgrade your armory and fleet to minimize your risks in a standoff with the enemy.

Man your post

As you show your mettle, you go from humble beginnings to a fully upgraded fleet, arsenal, and police station. In this customs and border game, inspections get more thorough in time, station costs rise, and the Red Fist rebels get more and more desperate. Your decisions and actions have wider impacts, and the safety of Acaristan is in your hands.

Polished and political police simulator

This versatile 3D police sim is unique in more ways than one. It lets you pick sides, there’s accounting to be done, and every new level comes with new rules.
